Connected apps: Google Drive, Sheets, Notion, Slack, Gmail
You can now connect your existing workspace tools to Soradar. In Settings → Connected apps, connect Google Drive, Google Sheets, Notion, Slack, and Gmail to let your research assistant read your documents and propose updates with your explicit confirmation.
Connected apps are available on Starter and Pro plans.
Why connect your workspace apps
When doing creator vetting, brand monitoring, or competitive research, your context usually lives across multiple tools: brand guidelines in Google Drive, influencer rosters in Google Sheets, campaign briefs in Notion, and team discussions in Slack.
Without connections, you have to copy and paste text back and forth. With your apps connected, Soradar can read files directly while answering your questions, and can prepare clean updates for you to review and save.
Five connected apps
You can connect five workspace apps:
- Google Drive: search files by name and read the text of Google Docs, Google Sheets (exported as CSV), Google Slides, and plain text, Markdown, CSV, or JSON files. Binary files such as PDFs, images, and Office documents are excluded.
- Google Sheets: read cell values from any spreadsheet using standard A1 range notation, such as Sheet1!A1:F100.
- Notion: search workspace pages by title and read full page contents as clean Markdown.
- Slack: list public and private channels in your workspace to pick where to share findings.
- Gmail: search your inbox using standard Gmail search syntax (such as sender, subject line, or date filters) and read individual emails in full.
What you can ask
With your tools connected, you can combine live social data with your own files:
- "Look up our creator roster in Google Drive and check whether any of them posted about sunscreen on RedNote this week."
- "Read the campaign goals from our Notion brief and find five TikTok creators whose audience demographics match."
- "Pull the latest posts from our competitor on Instagram and summarise what people are asking for in their comments."
- "Search Gmail for recent emails from our agency and extract the creator handle they recommended."
Writes require your confirmation
Soradar will never write to your apps behind your back. Whenever the assistant proposes saving or posting something, it presents an interactive confirmation card showing exactly what will be written.
Nothing is created or sent until you review the card and click Confirm.
The assistant can propose the following actions:
- Save to Google Drive: save research notes, summaries, or data extracts as text, Markdown, CSV, or JSON files.
- Create or append in Google Sheets: create a new spreadsheet or append rows of data. Cell values are written as raw text and numbers, never as executable formulas.
- Create a Notion page: create a new page with a title and Markdown formatting under an existing parent page.
- Post a Slack message: post a formatted research update to a chosen channel.
- Create a Gmail draft: create an email draft in your inbox. Soradar never sends email on your behalf; you review and send the draft yourself in Gmail.
Privacy, security and control
- Standard OAuth: each app connects through its standard authorization screen. Soradar never sees your passwords.
- Account verification: every connection is verified against your signed-in account upon return to prevent connection tampering.
- No autonomous writes: every write action requires your click on a confirmation card.
- Disconnect anytime: disconnect any app with one click in Settings → Connected apps. Soradar stops using that connection right away.
