Results are reused for a short window, then fetched again: comments after 30 minutes, searches after an hour, notes after 6 hours, profiles after 24 hours. Every result is marked fresh or cached, with its age.

Questions

Is RedNote the same as Xiaohongshu?

Yes. RedNote is the English name of Xiaohongshu, the Chinese lifestyle and shopping platform. Soradar reads the same public notes and creators.

Do I need a RedNote account, or to read Chinese?

No. Soradar reads public data, and you can ask in English. Answers come in the language you ask in, while quotes from notes keep their original text, including RedNote’s bracket emoji.

Can I see private accounts or messages?

No. Only public profiles, notes, comments and search results.
