What is new in Soradar: October 2026
Over the past two weeks, we shipped several major upgrades across Soradar: ready-to-post card sets with PNG downloads, live web search with citations, research effort levels, a persistent workspace Assets library, and automatic background memory.
Here is what is new and how to use it in your research.
Multi-card sets with PNG export
When creating content for RedNote or Instagram, you can now ask Soradar to generate complete multi-card carousels.
- Structured card drafts: each card carries focused copy, key data points, and clear slide sequencing built specifically for image carousels.
- Interactive preview and editing: preview the full slide set inside the conversation and adjust card copy inline before saving.
- Download PNGs: on Starter and Pro plans, click "Download PNGs" on any card set to get ready-to-publish high-resolution images bundled in a zip archive.
Live web search with cited sources
Your research assistant can now search the live web and read external webpages during conversations, bringing together social platform data and wider web context.
- Current facts and brand context: verify whether a product launched, read brand announcements, check news articles, or find company profiles alongside social metrics.
- Inline clickable citations: answers include source chips that let you hover to inspect the exact passage the assistant relied on.
- Transparent credit usage: web searches and page reads spend 2 credits, with every charge listed in your answer details.
Research effort levels: Auto, High, and Ultra
You can now adjust how deeply the assistant investigates a topic using the effort selector under the message composer.
- Auto: our default balance of speed and depth, suitable for quick lookups, profile checks, and everyday questions (available on all plans).
- High: increases tool step limits and searches deeper through post archives and comment threads before drawing conclusions (available on Starter and Pro).
- Ultra: gives the assistant its deepest thinking and the largest budget of lookups and web reads, for questions that span several platforms or end in a client report (available on Pro).
Assets library: catalog what your research finds
Everything your conversations discover is now automatically organized into a workspace library at Assets.
- Automatic capture: every creator profile, post, web source, draft, and chart from your chats is saved as a dated snapshot.
- Saved and Made tabs: star important items to keep them permanently in your Saved list, or browse deliverables in Made.
- Reuse with `@` in chat: reference any saved asset in future conversations using the
@menu or the+menu ("From your Assets..."). The assistant works from your saved snapshot, so it needs no new data lookup for it. - Storage quota: Starter and Pro plans include 5 GB of asset storage.
Automatic workspace memory
Soradar now learns about your brand and working preferences naturally as you converse.
- Background extraction: when you mention your company, target audience, competitors, or tone preferences in chat, Soradar notes them down in your original language without translating.
- Personal and workspace scopes: personal preferences (name, language, communication style) stay with you, while project facts (brand name, competitor handles, target niche) are tied to your workspace.
- Full control: every memory update shows a "Memory updated" notice with an instant Undo button. You can review, edit, export, or delete all notes at any time in Settings → Memory.
Explore catalog and personalized suggestions
If you want inspiration for new research angles, open Explore.
- 18 curated use cases: browse research prompts across 8 goals, from creator vetting and viral breakdowns to competitor recaps and client reports.
- Visual answer previews: each card previews the layout and data tables of the answer before you ask.
- Personalized for you: the top section suggests custom prompts generated directly from your workspace memory. A single click loads any prompt into your chat composer.
